So, Insecure is back for season 4. (Happy Dance🥳🥳🥳)
I had missed Issa by the way. Well, it was supposed to return last year but HBO couldn’t have anything distract from the big Game Of Thrones finale. 🙄
Since I discovered Insecure, I have been a huge fan. Because well I kinda can relate you know. Issa is just another millennial figuring shit out and it hasn’t been easy. She’s just a confused human being trynna get her life together.
So this season, things are starting to actually look up for Issa. Even though she’s got no job, no man, no money she ain’t letting any of it get to her. Good vibes only. Hataki makasiriko. She’s doing something she loves and something she believes is important with organizing her block party and that’s enough for now. She has a pact with her best friend Molly to hold each other accountable and this meant to help them grow and evolve as people.
Her life is just messy as usual, she’s friend’s with her ex’s new girlfriend and this is just plain weird and her relationship with Molly is increasingly becoming strained because of all the honesty and holding each other accountable. And Molly, well, she’s having a crisis in her personal life, with how she’s always self-destructive in relationships.
This season looks like it’s gonna be interesting and seems like it’s gonna have some drama. Let’s see where it takes us.
